Having badly upset Fenriz of Darkthrone merely by presenting him with an unpalatable truth, it’s come to light that Robert of criminul gangsta black metal act Ritual is still rather pissed off at us as well.

It doesn’t bother you, yet you mention us several times in a single interview? Even Fenriz only slags us off once every few months or so.
I read an interview on a web site a few weeks ago and, well, it was extremely unprofessional (to put it mildly…)
Yep, Mr. Metal Crypt is talking about us, and Mr Ritual still thinks we’re this Prozak dude. Honestly, we at Antihumanism.com think well of Metal Crypt as a website, but calling us “unprofessional” is downright slander my friends. Last time I checked, our entire site had 2 less typing errors than Terrorizer’s latest issue, so put that in your metal crypt and entomb it. Metal Crypt writers please note sarcasm, thanks. ;)
I noticed that the comments on the web site were pretty inflammatory, and rarely in your favour.
To be fair, most people were jumping on the bandwagon, kicking a man when he was down, which is easy to do. But it was still funny.
Anyway, Rob, just let this bitterness towards us go mate. It’s unbecoming of you. And take solace in the fact that you will never be as absurd and pathetic as Fenriz has become.

It just keeps getting worse…every subsequent CD they release…
is just horrible…

I just read the interview with…the ritual guy..
seriously…I have written this at least once on here
I have been tapre trading…playing underground music…lived in many different regions of the US…playing in those areas….played gigs from Boston toDetroit to Oakland
not once…ONCE..in my travels did I ever hear of this band…
why is anyone interviewing this guy???
for one..he hardly looks like a tough guy..especially with the pic thats up…

^ apparently you never noticed, but we only mock shitty metal, idiots and idiotic mentality.
Whether it’s metal or any other genre, we listen exclusively to quality stuff, with little or nothing in between (leaving room for a little bit of personal taste of course). That quality stuff = about 1% of everything ever produced. So that left over 99% gives us a lot to write about… ;)

Who is this empirical “We” you speak of? I mean, what interested in you in Black Metal? Was it the church burnings, corpsepaint, cruddy recordings, or stage names? You are either Prozak or Nathan Birk, as he is one of the only people to go apeshit over Averse Sefira.
Is Averse Sefira the type of quality act that uses logic to defeat Christianity, by smoking pot in their basement or bragging about their victorious mini tours of local dive bars. Black Metal bands always claim their pebble will lay waste to unbelievers when in reality, most outside a few diehards will never hear their mediocre zerox copy rehashed crap.
At least Tom G Warrior doesn’t pretend in interviews that they are going to dominate the world with their releases, tours etc. And if you make fun of him you have serious issues!

jesus xmas Erik-you use “fodder” and then spell “ridicule” wrong? Don’t get me wrong, “fodder” is a GREAT word. But you have to follow it up by nailing “pretentious” -which is like the verbal “triple lindy”. Tsk Tsk. Merits gained, merits lost. That’s life I suppose.
Day has been one shithole moment after another, worked today, broken axle on the car and come on to this.
I maybe, maybe the biggest CF (not Carpathian-the original “CF”) fan on the planet. But seriously, do not bring Tom G into this. He once pronounced “Celtic”, like “seltic”, or as in the basketball team-The Boston “Celtics”, on a video from back in the day. It was some wannable metal video that had a few thrash bands from the day. I cannot remember the title of this-but it was around “Cold Lake” era CF. I recently saw something on youtube where someone was interviewing Martin & Tom-this interview must have been during the reunion tour-and the guy asked about the pronunciation-so Tom pipes up and says, with the typical Tom G disdain filled voice-”Celtic”-”keltic”as in the real way to say it. As if tom was chiding a child for wiping his nose on his sleeve. And I was thinking, “way to go Tom-be the douche that everyone claims you really are-as if you always pronounced it that way”. He DOES think he is better than the rest of the planet. He DOES think that he dominates the world. I met him on the Serenades tour-not horrible-but a bit of a pompous ass. And from people who I know, and my circle is pretty wide-who has worked with him-he is very, very abrasive.
Having said that-I love the man. Serious “bromance” type stuff. If it was not for him and Martin, I would have never played.
Admin, do you also have the keys to “Area 51″? Last time we were there I left my David Cassidy watch next to the display of Zaphod Beeblebrox encased in carbonite.
BTW, what did you with the “Lindbergh Baby”? You told me, but I forgot. Oooopsie…..

I just read that interview at Metal Crypt. This Ritual fellow is a complete mess. “Black Metal is not about gimmicks etc.” suddenly leads to “I’d rather have a true fan in a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY (plugplugplugplug)”.
“Criminal Black Metal”? How is that not a “gimmick”? Or does he actually think that vandalising a Church makes him a better musician? But oh, a grand total of three Churches, he says! Quite impressive, indeed. Although, I’ve absolutely ruined five. And I’ve torn up another two pretty badly. I’ve also done about as much as they did (graffiti) to three others. Wasn’t I a badass sixteen year old? However, unlike the guys from Ritual, I was never caught (read: I’m not a moron).
All of that crap has nothing to do with my music. It is entirely unrelated to my music, and I would say that 99% of the people who’ve ever heard my music neither know nor care about it. In fact, until now, I’ve probably told three people, in private, making a grand total of seven people who knew (and none who cared). It’s not something to be proud of, to bring up time and time again as some kind of trophy. “I served jail time for a petty crime, LOOK AT ME!”

I am actually quite enraged now. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a more pretentious, annoying, deluded, retarded wannabe in my life.
From an interview with Metal Underground that is 100x more infuriating than this-
‘Criminal black metal which is music that is dangerous for the casual listener and may encourage destructive behavioural patterns. It should put the listener in a trance the way tribal musick is used during Shamanic Rituals to gain a gnosis or enlightenment from the dark energies that surround us. ‘
There is nothing quite like a pretentious person who also happens to be incredibly thick. Please keep the mockery coming, no one deserves it as much as this man.
