Dude.black metal is basically the most stupid,overrated(for it’s shock value) and loser genre of music.and you,robert fucking ritual and dickhead ian.being arrested by the police,interrogated and raped in the ass by other prisoners don’t make you better musicians.the problem with you bastards is that you guys do everything apart from music..satyricon and ancient(and some of the later stuff of mayhem) focuses more on music.learn from them.and if you say that being musically approachable is commercial,then fuck you.

What a bunch of idiots. Black metal isn’t something to be pushed; that’s why they call it the underground. Or the ‘overground’ as some people refer to it now. I’ve never heard any of Ritual’s music. I don’t think that someone who truly understands and most importantly lives Black Metal would care what a bunch of worthless idiot humans like yourselves think about his music. But that’s just it; apparently, it’s nothing more than music, and the artists have no idea what Black Metal is truly about. Everyone who is or has been connected to this site in any way is a fucking idiot (excluding the bands, because I’ve read about 4 or 5 stories on here and I know of only this band, Watain, and Darkthrone being mentioned). And I’m not planning on reading more, as this is not amusing, but yes, absolutely, a completely meaningless and idiotic waste of time. If you think that Black Metal is only music, you should be able to stomach all the other music out there, as you have no idea as to why people always say that it’s above all other music, which is nothing more than that (although these people never know what they’re talking about either), and stop listening to Black Metal.

at least the interviews are not the typical-ass kissing-so-I-can-get-free-shit kind..
as far as Ritual….been apart of the underground and tape trading for more than 25 years..never heard of “Ritual” before I came across this site…
having said that…I have been apart of bands that released CD’s and demos that no one here probably never heard of either (Forbode, Dilator….)
and in the local areas we were “kind of” legendary for shows..
but…never heard of Ritual….so, don’t even know….

We worked very hard to push this style of music thru when nobody else knew or cared about it. Robert Ritual: I don’t really consider there to be any “great” acts in the scene today. Nothing matches up to the classics released from the early-mid 80’s to early 90’s, let’s be brutally honest.

Profanatica, Summoning, Graveland and Beherit still have “it”, though on a personal level I don’t enjoy the new Beherit and Graveland much.

Havohej “Kembatinan Premaster”: a good review here which I agree with: http://www.anus.com/metal/about/blog/pivot/entry.php?id=106
(yeah I know it’s from your most hated website).
But subjectively I can find it enjoyable in some ways.
